I had the job of creating a range of sound and video effects for the show. I presumed that there would be sound effect websites ready to go with pre-made We Will Rock You sounds and video, but was massively mistaken! I managed to create a selection of sounds and videos for the production, and which I've made available as royalty free MP3s and videos to download and use in your own production.
I asssembled all the sounds in Cakewalk SONAR Producer Edition 7.
The raw noises that were then processed were either:
* created by me using a range of sound production techniques
* downloaded from royalty free sound effect websites

ACT 1
- Opening winds
- Communicator open
- Killer Queen intro text
- Cattle prods (three variations)
- Hologram with end sound (Killer Queen video screen)
- Life support beeps (hospital scene)
- Rocks exploding
- Abandoned Tube Station
- Lots of cattle prods (fight at end of Act 1)
ACT 2
- One Vision sounds
- Cattle prods (three variations)
- Mind wiper machine
- Bohemian Rhapsody video extract with tape interference (includes PowerPoint for accurate projection onto specific stage area)
- Lake draining
- Motorbike start and idling
- Flying over central London video and circling Wembley Stadium
